Dr. Lucy M. Maltby

She was founder and manager of the home economics department at test kitchen, which together now employ 35 women. Dr. Maltby will lecture this fall and next year at the University of Vermont, Cornell, and Southern Illinois University. Miss Alexander, who joined Corning in 1954 as a home economist in the Atlanta sales district, was supervisor of product development in the home economics department before her recent promotion. {1035}

Mr Mason a veteran glassware sales head of the J. S Mason company, Toronto, Canada was appointed to Imperial’s sales force on April 3, 1940. Mr Mason would headquarter in Toronto and represented Imperial Glass in Eastern Canada. Once a glass cutter himself, he served in the Royal Air Force in WWII. In the early twenties he organized the Canadian Cut Glass Co., Winnipeg. 1930– He disposed of these interests and established himself in Montreal as the J. S. Mason Co., and later moved the business to Toronto.

Rosa Massa

Rosa Massa was an Italian Immigrant from Argentina in the 1920's. She started at Imperial in the early 1940s and worked there for about 8 -10 years, living less than a mile away from the factory at the time.

Rosa died in 1999.
