This jardiniere is also of use as an ice bowl when not desired for floral decorations. It consists of a clay flower jar, neatly lacquered with silver bronze, which fits inside the cut glass jardiniere; the jar being silvered adds materially to brilliancy of the cutting on the glass when in place and when complemented with a handsom flowering plant or fern it becomes a beautiful ornament for the dining tabel, library or any other place where plant life is desirable and admired.
