| The Holophane Glass Corporation, 214 Oakwood Avenue, Newark OH. are makers of lamp shades, globes, lighting and other illumination objects. They are one of only a few old time glass houses still in business today.
In 1942 the U. S. Government stoped Holophane's production of Verlys, Cut, and Engraved glassware due to WWII, because the government considered it a luxury, and Holophane was not gettintg out the government orders.
Fenton purchased the Veryls moulds from Holophane Lighting Company
