Something New
A. H. Heisey & Company will show something entirely new in two color glassware. They offer plates with a cobalt blue center and a flange of crystal, or with a blue flange and crystal center. There will be many colors to choose from combined with the crystal. Also shown are sodas, old fashions and whiskies in the same color combinations with colored bottoms and crystal tops. The arrangement of the blue centers and crystal shoulders helps to a most unusual table setting. This company will also show some new style combination relish dishes, several additions to the modern pattern, and bar bottles in the Early American pattern.

Heisey builds on new name—Impromptu
A. H. Heisey & Co., Newark, Ohio, has renamed a glassware line and developed fresh advertising and promotion plans for its reintroduction this January at Pittsburgh.
Formerly called Polka Dot, this hand-blown crystal has been renamed Impromptu in keeping with today's trend towards more informal entertaining. The company feels that the new name is more in keeping with the decidedly casual pattern of the glass, a low-stem and goblet line with many accessory pieces.
