Line No. 1951 (pressed wares) and No. 6091 (blown wares), Cabochon
1951, November, A. H. Heisey has a new glassware pattern in a subtly rounded squarish shape that is unusual and has much fluent charm. Called "Cabochon," it looks well in both modern and traditional table settings and is a perfect answer for customers seeking wedding gifts for people whom they don't know well. A tumbler and all the usual stemware are available, as well as two sizes of plates, nappies, creamer and sugar, mayonnaise bowl and cruets. Stemware retails for $16.20 a dozen, eight-inch plates for $15, and sherbet-nappies for $8.10.
